The delegation headed by the RA Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan leaves on an official visit to Bucharest. During a three-day visit (April 25-27) he will take part in a Ministerial summit of the Bologna Process member states.
Within the framework of the visit discussions are intended to take place with the Working Group of the Bologna Process and the Action Plan for the further years is to be designed.
During the summit of the member states the Bologna Process Secretary will at last be established and A. Ashotyan will officially assume that role for the next 2012-2015 years. Acting as a Secretary of the Bologna Process means to gain international recognition, reputation and image, which will open new perspectives for the Armenian educational system as well. Member states also will discuss the ways of cooperation to provide an agreed system for higher education in Europe.
Yerevan State University rector, the head of National Information Center for Academic Recognition and Mobility, other representatives of the Ministry and students’ community constitute the delegation.
