Another Opportunity to Exchange International Experience

The presentation of Erasmus Mundus (Action 2) scholarships took place at the building of “Design and Applied Arts” on the initiative of International relations department of Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts (YSAFA) on November 23rd, 2012 for YSAFA students and professors. Erasmus Mundus programme financed by EU is designed to promote student, faculty mobility between European HEIs and those of developing countries. The presentation was made by Arevik Ohanyan head of quality assurance center at Eurasia International University. In her speech she mentioned about the main mission of the programme and outlined the importance of International experience that can increase student competitiveness. She also stated that Eurasia International University was already a consortium member of 3 Erasmus Mundus programmes, namely ALRAKIS, ALRAKIS 2 and MID but the students from different Armenian universities could actually apply for 9 different Erasmus programmes (it refers to those who are citizens of RA).

YSAFA rector, professor Aram Isabekyan highly appreciating the initiative offering to organize such events more frequently as they give a great opportunity not only to YSAFA students but also to those from other Armenian universities to be integrated in the European educational system.
