In GSU, a seminar-discussion “The Development of the Education System of Kazakhstan and its Scientific Achievements” was organized due to joint efforts of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Armenia and the “European Integration” NGO.
At the beginning of the meeting, the national anthems of the Republics of Kazakhstan and Armenia were sounded.
“The cooperation scope of the Republics of Armenia and Kazakhstan is large enough. Our countries cooperate in the scope of The Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) as well as The Collective Security Treaty Organization. We have a common history, mutual trust and good will to improve the relationship in the field of science and education”, – said GSU Rector Ruzanna Hakobyan in her speech of welcome.
“If we want to have a stable and secure future, we should make a significant contribution to the field of education”, – said the Regional Research Service Head of the Public Relations and Information Centre Manvel Gumashyan during the meeting.
The Ambassador Ayimdos Bozzhigitov spoke about the strategic plan of development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
“Now we live in a global developing world. That’s why, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan has adopted a developing program, which assumes to catch up with 30 developed countries in 2050”, – said the Ambassador.
The reports on the education system of the Republic of Kazakhstan were made by Mariam Voskanyan, Candidate of Economics, Zhanbolat Abu, Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Armenia, and the Director of the Civil Society and Regional Development Institute Aghavni Karakhanyan.
The attendants watched a video about Gavar State University.
At the end of the meeting, the guests visited The Historical Museum of Gavar State University.
