Armenia Education Minister to Visit Georgia

An Armenian delegation, led by Education and Science Minister Armen Ashotyan, will be in Georgia on an official visit, from Thursday to Saturday.

Ashotyan is scheduled to meet with Tamar Sanikidze, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia. They will discuss the avenues for expanding Armenian-Georgian cooperation in science and education, and the education-related issues of the Georgian-Armenian community.

In addition, the Armenian minister will pay visits to Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Ilia State University, and Georgian Technical University, and deliver lectures.

The Armenian delegation will also meet with Armenian teachers.

Along the lines of the official visit, the Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan and Ilia State University of Georgia will sign an agreement on cooperation.
