The Minister commented on the remark by reporters who said Armenia’s educational projects are moving towards European standards whereas Armenia is joining Eurasian Union in several days.
“First I want to explain what is my perception of Europe. For me, Europe is not the European Union. I do not think that Russia and Armenia are not Europe. Saint Petersburg is one of the best cities of European civilization, Pushkin is a European writer. As to Eurasian Economic Union, I think that it should have an educational component, universal educational program that will not be opposed to the European one,” he told reporters.
