MES Always Resolves Issues related to Iranian Students

On September 28, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia Armen Ashotyan received Mohammad Raiesi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Armenia, on completion of his diplomatic mission in our country. Minister emphasized Ambassador’s personal contribution to Armenian-Iranian relations, especially in education and science. Armen Ashoyan expressed his confidence that even after his office Mohammad Raiesi would assist in the implementation of different educational projects, as a scientist. “Of course, there are still many issues in the context of Armenian-Iranian relations but it is obvious that our approaches to the solution of those problems have always been fair and professional,” Minister noted. The Ambassador expressed gratitude for the highest appreciation, stressing that numerous projects were brought to life during his office. He ensured that during the office of the new ambassador these projects would continue, moreover, new ones would be launched. Mohammad Raiesi emphasized that the Ministry had always responded to and solved all the problems of the Iranian students. During the meeting the parties also discussed the issues of mutual recognition of diplomas as well as mutual visits of the delegations of the 2 countries, the possibilities of cooperation between the US University of Louisiana, Yerevan State University and the University of Tehran.
