Armenia is a part of the European Higher Education Area, and the European Union (EU) programs are an effective tool to promote the process of internationalization of the country’s institutions of higher education.
The Minister of Education and Science of Armenia, Armen Ashotyan, noted the aforesaid at his talk Wednesday with several officials of the Erasmus (European Region Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students) Programme of the EU.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am that the minister briefed the guests on the ongoing higher education reforms in the country.
Ashotyan also underscored that Armenia has become a regional leader among the Eastern Partnership program member countries, in terms of active participation in EU programs.
At the talk, the interlocutors also discussed the programs for new education services, and exchange programs.
