The delegation headed by the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia Levon Mkrtchyan attended the Moscow International Education Fair held in Moscow. The fair provides platform for presenting the leading education institutions from different countries and renowned international companies.
The Minister also participated in the summit of education and science ministers of the EEU member states, where he came up with his speech and highlighted the following:
“Interstate cooperation in the education sector is viewed as a productive format in terms of enhancing the competitiveness of the national higher education systems and integrating into international educational systems. The rationale is very simple: the educational system is free from political disagreements, meanwhile it provides favorable conditions for the normalization of political and economic contradictions”.
Levon Mkrtchyan emphasized, that intergovernmental educational agreements within the framework of EEU play en essential role in the context of improving the quality of education and training professional staff. He also added, that national educational systems should be based on the same values and underlined, that Armenia attaches significance to the development of civilization in the sphere of educational cooperation
