During their work meeting in Moscow, Armenia’s Education and Science Minister Armen Ashotyan and Russia’s Education and Science Minister Andrei Fursenko discussed the teaching of Armenian, in Russia’s Armenian communities, and of Russian, in Armenia.
The meeting was held within the framework of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s recent state visit to Russia.
The two ministers examined the current state of, and enlargement prospects for, cooperation in the domain of science and education, Education and Science Ministry Press Service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The interlocutors underscored the possibility for implementing practical programs within international circles, and especially within CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) organizations.
As a result of the discussions, the parties decided to expand and further deepen the cooperation.
