International educational seminar dedicated to nuclear cooperation started in Yerevan Polytechnic Institute

In Yerevan Polytechnic Institute’s Center of Nuclear safety the international youth educational seminar “Nuclear cooperation 21st century: heritage, partnership and development” started on Thursday.

The aim of the seminar is to strengthen international cooperation in the nuclear sphere and to include key universities and colleges of CIS countries in the nuclear programs. Many questions were discussed during the seminar concerning the development of the nuclear power and fight against nuclear terrorism.

“Nuclear power is a world heritage and one country cannot control its development alone. That is why it is important to organize events like this,” the rector of Polytechnic Institute stressed.
