YEREVAN. – The State Engineering University of Armenia (SEUA) on Friday hosted Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple Computer Corporation, who had received Armenian President’s 2011 Award for his contribution to the global IT sector. Wozniak was accompanied by his wife, Janet.
During the event, Steve Wozniak was granted SEUA Honorary Doctorate Degree, the University informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
And during the special session that was convened on this occasion, Wozniak specifically said:
“It is a great honor to be in Armenia, and this university has great significance for me. I love computers because I can program them. When I met with the [Armenian] Catholicos yesterday, I remembered my student years when I was inspired not only by science, but also by faith.”
