Gavar State University has about 3000 students providing full-time and distance learning. The University carries out higher education in two levels – Bachelor and Master. According to the press office of the University, students mainly pay tuition fees, but the University has benefactors, who provide scholarship programs and support paying tuition fees.
This year GSU has opened new specialties – service, cartography and cadastre work, pharmaceutical chemistry.
“Service” faculty will prepare specialists in service, tourism and other relevant fields.
Graduates of “Cartography and cadastre work” faculty will be able to work at different cadastre subdivisions and project institutes as cartographers.
“Pharmaceutical chemistry” faculty will prepare pharmacist-chemists. The sphere of their employment is very broad – hospitals, pharmacies, pharmaceutical companies.
The newly-opened faculties will provide full-time and distance learning studies.
