A regular session of the RA government was held today, presided by the RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan. By the request of T. Sargsyan, the RA Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan clarified the responsibilities Armenia should assume as the host country of the Bologna process secretary. “For the next three years Armenia will become the ninth country to act as Secretary of the Bologna process and we’re entrusted with the responsibility to monitor the Bologna process for the forthcoming years.”, told A. Ashotyan.
He also mentioned, that beginning from June our national working group will be designed to implement the responsibilities assumed till 2015. Armenia is the first among the CIS and the second among Eastern Europe countries to assume the role of the Secretary of the Bologna process.
“For the work organization we’ll receive cash resources from the State Budget and from different Grants. Businessmen are also developing an active interest towards this issue”, the minister added.
