Yerevan State University is the oldest and largest university in Armenia. Dubbed ‘the mother university’, it facilitated the establishment of other higher education institutions in Armenia. Today Yerevan State University has 19 programs, 100 chairs and about 20,000 students, 18,000 of whom are undergraduates and 2,000 postgraduates, including 300 international students.
