Humanities and Social Sciences Degree Programs in Armenia
Information about Humanities and Social Sciences Degree Programs
Humanities study humans and societies and everything related to the human experience. Sociology, history, economics, languages, anthropology, cultural studies, philosophy, political science, psychology, archeology and many other disciplines traditionally fall under the humanities and social sciences umbrella.
If you want to explore human evolution and understand where we come from, what heritage, both tangible and intangible, we have inherited and how all these developments have impacted humans and modern societies, these branches of knowledge are for you.
While degrees in the humanities do not provide a career path as straightforward as big data and STEM — science, technology, engineering and mathematics, you will acquire a good set of transferable skills enough to succeed in the modern professional world. Earning a degree in the humanities may help you find careers in banking, education, media, administration, journalism and many other sectors.
In Armenia, a number of universities traditionally provide rich educational experiences in the humanities and social sciences, delivering both bachelor’s and master’s degree programs. Brusov State University prepares specialists in Russian, English, French, German, Chinese and many other languages, psychology, tourism, political science and other humanities.
