Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport
The Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture started operation in 1945 and continues to be Armenia's largest center educating athletes, sport managers and journalists. The institute has built close ties with the sports sector, and teaches content the industry needs. The sports division on campus gives all students the opportunity to remain healthy and enjoy sports and exercise.
Multiple World, European and Olympic champions like Albert Azaryan, Vladimir Yengibaryan, Yuri Vardanyan, Levon Julfalakyan, Armen Nazaryan, and Arthur Aleksanyan are graduates of the university.

Education
The institute prepares students across 26 specializations at the two departments: Department of Physical Education and Health Technologies and Department of Sports Teaching and Management. The National Olympic Academy, an affiliate of the institute, focuses on preserving and uplifting the Olympic traditions. The institute has gyms, parks, a swimming pool, and wellness centers.
Career
The institute develops internship programs that let students work in various organizations, including clinics, media and sports clubs around the country. Students have excellent opportunities, with all the courses providing internship and placement programs. This gives them an ability to network within the industry and explore their career path.
