Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan
Since its inception in 1923 Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan has trained musicians, composers and music educators who gained recognition both locally and internationally. The bachelor’s and master's degree programs involve a comprehensive core curriculum, training on a number of key instruments, and a wide variety of majors and minors, all taught by the talented and accomplished professional faculty. The programs pair music courses with liberal arts courses, providing students with a broad context for studying and achieving their music goals.
The Conservatory is equipped with musical instruments, rehearsal spaces and recording studios. It also has a branch in Gyumri, Armenia’s second largest city.

Education
The programs offer a range of practical, interdisciplinary skills to prepare students as educators, composers, music directors, sound engineers and performers. The country's best musicians and composers teach at Komitas State Conservatory, with the university’s students receiving highest awards at international competitions every year.
Career
The conservatory has a total of 1000 students, with foreign students accounting for more than 15 per cent. Students are highly encouraged to complement the studies in the classroom with the real-world, hands-on experiential experience they receive from an internship. Every internship and placement offers a deliberate opportunity to relate the program to actual practice.
