State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia

The State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia has over 75 years of traditions and achievements. Today it is Armenia's best university for teaching fine arts including painting, sculpture, photography, architecture, digital and applied arts, computer graphics, and fashion design.

The academy encourages and helps students to develop a style of their own and put their ideas into action, enriching students' education through exposure to a range of unique disciplines. Along with traditional art disciplines, the academy offers modern programs that combine art and technology allowing students to seek employment in the tech sector.

Education
The academy's undergraduate programs offer rare opportunities to experience Armenia as an artist, fusing disciplines and emphasizing the critical role of art and designing both socially and environmentally. Partnerships with local museums, galleries, and artists provide real-world experience through class projects and internships in design. The academy has its own studios and facilities to deliver modeling, computer graphics and fashion design courses.
Career

Students complete a four-week internship at well-known and leading Armenian branding agencies, factories, businesses, and museums every spring semester. This helps them become career-ready and gain community connections while creating links between their professional and disciplinary experiences.

Yerevan State University is the oldest and largest university in Armenia. Dubbed ‘the mother university’, it facilitated the establishment of other higher education institutions in Armenia. Today Yerevan State University has 19 programs, 100 chairs and about 20,000 students, 18,000 of whom are undergraduates and 2,000 postgraduates, including 300 international students.
